My hand shakes, so I'm always nervous I'll accidentally apply it beyond my lips, but so far I haven't messed up too badly! I was impressed with how long it lasted through eating, drinking, etc. Now that I have a bit more experience and seem better at applying it evenly, I really love how long it lasts and that it doesn't come off. I've found that a damp paper towel works best to remove the blue to reveal the stain, and that's after trying damp toilet paper (crumbles too easily) and a damp washcloth (works but a bit more awkward than a paper towel). Now that I've got the hang of it, I really like this product and will recommend to others. š
